Taking time to look for creatives but be creative has become the life blood of Design Tonic. As editor you love and loath finding peers that create something mesmerizing, perhaps reflective of a conversation in your own head. As an artist myself, I find it a constant struggle to produce, produce, produce. In my experience the “good stuff” always comes towards the end of the dead line, or tragically after. The consistent theme of “no boundaries,” seems to hum like a soundtrack in the art world at the moment. Peter Madden’s work is a pioneer of mixed disciplines and boundless creativity. Design Tonic has been up in running for less than a year, the artist featured over these past months either in film, art, or fashion have the same objective: Defy traditional definition, make your own path. We look forward to a summer packed with unrest.
